1. For 'writing practice', is having students copy their textbooks word-for-word into their textbooks really helpful for learning English? Expecially, the non-grammic and irrlogical sentences?
"Two hamburgers. Sure." WTF!?!?!
2. I found this example in the workbook. They wouldn't dare put it in the textbook. You know how they interchange the word 'because' from the middle of the sentence and put it at the beginning and often times use it in fragmented sentences? Well, I found a place in the workbook where they interchange these types of words in the sentence.
"The boy running is my brother." They teach it so the students can also say, "The running boy is my brother." While this might be grammatically acceptable, what if you switched the word to "smoking"? The meaning totally changes depending where you put it.
Suggestion to textbook writers: STOP WRITING THESE ENGRISH TEXTBOOKUSU!!!!!!
