Anyone feeling creative today? My JTE just asked me to come up with a game that includes was/were and is/are and price in yen. The conditions however are that the game cannot include any other past tense verbs, and I may use occasionally "How much was/is___" though she wants the main focus to be on "Was ___ yen last week?/Is ___ yen__now?" Also it has to be speaking only and last just 15 minutes. Everything I've come up with so far works with the conditions but is lacking in the way of entertaining. This class is uber genki so I:d really like to give them something they'd get a kick out of. Any suggestions? Thanks

You could... do a jeopardy style game with the whole class make an information gap exercise to be done in pairs (speaking) have pictures up around the room, and under them have the prices (and when it was that price) and students aim to collect the information off all the pictures (more a read and write game)

Regi2..I did one of your suggestions--the information gap game--and it went over great. Thanks!
