Okay, page 44 of the 3rd grade English textbook is all in Japanese. There are a total of 21 English words on this page. Of which, 6 are within the target area. 21 compared to the 60+ Japanese words on this page....makes one question if we are actually using an English textbook.
Sorry Regi, back to the topic....the point of this page is to communicate without using any words, I think (I suck at Japanese).
What I've done in the past is make a gesture game that has multiple levels, each level having about 4-6 gestures and gradually getting harder and harder. Split the class up into groups and have one person from each group come to the ALT/JTE and receive a gesture: "It is difficult for you to study English." (I chose this grammar point because this is the most recent grammar point they have learned.) Then, they go back to their teams and act it out. When the team guesses it, the next person in that team comes to the ALT/JTE and says the answer, then they receive the next clue.

dont need worksheets. need game/activity suggestions (not another Q&A worksheet) by next week. Too late now, gotta write up the lesson plan for next week by the end of today but thanks for trying.
