This was from the New Horizons jr. high text for Unit 6 and practiced "Is there a...?" and "Are there ....s?" It worked super well!! Students were really motivated to use the questions and it was great practice for them. They really got into the challenge of seeing which team could figure out what the teacher's picture looked like first. One small problem was pronouncing "drawer, " but they tried. After the whole class activity, I tried doing it one on one, but they weren't as interested in that. Next time I'll try two on two and see if, as a team, they'll want to draw the items and see who can guess the others' placement first. Oh yeah - they get one point if they guess the item and it's location correctly (i.e. they hear "Yes, there is / are.") I definitely recommend this game! Thanks!
