Remember a couple years back when all you had to do was point both hands like pistol at someone, say "getsu" and respondant would fall to the ground laughing? Well, that still-unknown-why-it-was-funny expression quickly burned and turned to ashes. Recently, out of the ashes arose a new equally-not-funny expression at elementary school.
If you want to reduce your students to fits of laughter, all you must say is "Sonnano kakene" 3 times, while simultaneously doing the John Travolta Saturday Night Boogie dance move in a downward direction. However, instead of pointing a finger, you curl your hand up into a ball. Directly after completing this 3-time jig, doing the upward boogie movement while saying "Ai papi" will send your kids to the hospital in seizures of laughter.
This has been tried and tested. I'm ashamed at myself for doing it............but it does break the tension in those stressful classes.
