I love those cliparts. When I started Englipedia, I actually emailed the professor at Purdue who was in charge of the students who drew those cliparts. I told him I was using that little round character for a phonics curriculum I was making. He actually emailed me back to say "good luck!"

Yeah, nothing that would have to be done right away, just over time, as we need it. Start off with large sizes (enough to fit A4 sized paper lengthwise) and then several smaller sizes (200 x 200, 100 x 100, 50 x 50, et al).

I'm already thinking about it...
It's a great idea to have a collection of clipart people can use to make worksheets. However, it would only be useful if it was:
1. easily accessible 2. neatly sorted 3. uniformily sized
Now, you've got me thinkin'...the new Englipedia forum has a photo gallery area, which could possibly house clipart. Hmmm...let me think about it a little more...

I think I might have good news about a 'Worksheet Clipart' gallery that we can access freely whenever we are making a worksheet.
Be warned...it's going to be cool!

My question being, are you SURE that the images you're uploading are free? I mean, I have a ton of images I downloaded and use, but I wouldn't put them up on a public website. Know what I mean? That was the reason I suggested original clipart created by ALTs (or JTEs or their moms, or students or whomever).

Yeah, I think an Englepedia`s own Englipedia-submitter-made clipart gallery would be pretty useful.

We could have theoretically have both. A gallery of original clipart, AND a password-protected gallery that we could store less-than-original clipart. I've got a ton of the second type of clipart. While the Englipedia website idea was pretty creative, I have zero negative artistic abilities... As for orginal clipart, why don't you all send me the orginal stuff you have (schoolofthought@englipediaproject.com) and I'll start building the gallery. The gallery will go live at the same time the new forum does.
