Hey everyone,
Submit to me your original clipart and I'll load them up onto the new forum and you can view them all once the new forum goes live. The gallery is looking cooler and cooler!!

Raindrop, drawing them and then scanning them will work. If you wanna even color it after you scan it, that's fine too.
I've only got about collection of 75 clipart images so we can use as many as we can get our hands on.
Come on, peeps!

Remember gang, this is not art class, so no one expects Picasso (the man's work is highly overrated anyway). Simplicity is fine. We need all kinds of illustrations of activities, objects, places, etc.
Though, I think it's important to start off with some kind of size requirements don't you Otaku? Such as, images should be A4 in size (horizontal or vertical). Just a thought. That way they can be easily resized.
Oh, and no shitMEXTty GENKI ENGLISH inspired work. JeMEXTsus. That guy needs to spend money on a fuckMEXTing artist already.

I think only one size is probably required. That one size should be the full size of the clipart. I guess the size of a full clipart should have a requirement but I'll get back to people on the dimensions.
The reason I say only one size is needed is because the program I'm using automatically creates a thumbnail of the clipart, which I can preset to any size I want. So if people just submit one full size clipart at XXX dimensions, when I upload it to the gallery, it will automatically create the thumbnail version of the clipart, which mean essentially there will be two different sizes.
I'll get back to ya with the clipart dimensions. OH AND, when the gallery opens, registered members on the forum will be able to upload their own clipart to the gallery.

Sounds cool.
Okay folks, I know you are truly interested in rushing to send us your art, but don't mob. =)
I'll be honest, I would pony up myself, but I am a writer, not an artist. That said, since I opened my big mouth, I will endeavor to create some object and sports related clipart. Might take a little time, but I will submit each one as I finish it. I will submit my first couple by the beginning of next week!
In my opinion, B&W art works the best. Thoughts, peeps?

i might not be a great artist but i do like to draw, but it's a hassle for me to scan and upload. lol. but I'll work on it - because I know it'll be very useful when everyone's art comes together.

In my opinion, B&W art works the best. Thoughts, peeps? I do think B&W works best on worksheets that are going to be printed in B&W, but I would have to disagree about the clipart being submited to the gallery. I think color would be best because SOMETIMES you do want a worksheet in color. Changing a clipart to B&W can be done in a Word document with a couple clicks of the mouse button. i might not be a great artist but i do like to draw, but it's a hassle for me to scan and upload. lol. but I'll work on it - because I know it'll be very useful when everyone's art comes together. Raindrop, what is going to be cool about the gallery is that everyone will be able to upload their own clipart to it. So, once you get the clipart in digital format and upload it to the gallery, it will live on forever.

Okay, not to sound like a jerk, but I might need a little more time on those images. My wife works a 24 hour shift this weekend and I'm manning the boy.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA! okay, *YOU* guys try and hold him down while I trace him. I guarantee you will need everyone in the forum to do it.
My wife is a social worker in the mental health field. 24 hour shifts are occasional yet mandatory, like in nursing.
