I think that is the correct romaji for those two types of fish. It wasn't until I was looking at my lunch today that picked up some of this bone-ridden fish with my chopsticks that it dawned on me...
These two fishes are cat food! I've been eating cat food for 5 years!! The smell of the fish smells just like the moist cat food that you buy in a can back home.
However, the big difference between the stuff on my lunch plate and the stuff in a can back home is that the cat food is much safer because cats don't have to worry about choking on a bone.
I want my cat food boneless!!

Thank you for telling us that. Now I can never put another samma or saba type fish in my mouth without thinking that I'm eating cat food.
